Tokyo

After months (or even years) of global lockdowns, Tokyo marked the end of a difficult chapter and the beginning of a long-awaited return to exploration. A dream destination for many, Japan (and Tokyo in particular) can feel like a cultural shock, in the best way possible. Visiting for business at a time when tourism was closed off, only heightened that sense of escapism and immersion. This trip focused mainly on central Tokyo but provided the opportunity to briefly escape into outer Tokyo to take in the cherry blossoms.
